About On da Raks
My favorite subjects include sunsets, details, landscapes, food, and anything and everything that moves, or not. I love to travel and that's when I capture most of my photos. Here are some of my unforgettable "teachers" in photography (they are harsh teachers, too!) I pulled out and ruined a roll of negatives off my mother's film camera when I was a kid because I was too impatient to see the photos she took of me. Gone out to a festival anticipating to shoot hundreds of photos and discovered I have left all my batteries charging at home. Was about to capture a breathtaking sunset only to find out I didn't have any memory card with me. Captured a once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunity and discovered I have set my settings to 400 x 600 and can't blow up the image. Saw a house explode in flames and was so mesmerized and shocked and discovered later I just held my camera and never took a single photo. Automatically reduced photos I've shot/collected for two years on a tropical island into document sizes to save space in my laptop. Been there, done that.
